Our Philosophy“As long as the sun shines, one does not ask for the moon,” says an ancient Russian proverb. For a patient — a person — who is coping with the loss of a natural tooth and the adjustment to a prosthesis, the truth of the proverb stings the mouth and the soul. We find satisfaction in creating a restoration of such beauty and natural grace that its new owner forgets… and smiles again. At Clair de Lune, we produce beautiful and accurate removable, fixed, and combination dental prosthetics with the finest bio-compatible materials because we care about our community, our work, and your patients’ health. |

BiographyKenneth Kellogg, CDTI have been a technician since 1985. I was certified in complete dentures in 1997. In 1998, I opened my first lab in Washington, DC, a block from the White House, where I rented space from my main account, Willliam H. Lady, DDS, as well as served a small number of boutique practices. I’m grateful to Dr. Bill Lady for mentoring me in so many aspects of dentistry and encouraging me to excel as a technician and artist. I continually strive toward that world-class level of excellence. I have attended the scientific seminars at the American Prosthodontist Society; the “Implant Prosthodontist Symposium” at The International Congress of Oral Implantologists; “The Concept of Complete Dentistry” taught by Peter E. Dawson, DDS; “Anterior Function and Esthetics” and “Posterior Tooth Morphology” courses at International Dental Seminars taught by Russell T. DeVreugd, CDT; and “Technician Level One” and “Predictable Removable Prosthetics Course” at The Pankey Institute. I am a full member of Americal Prosthodontic Society, a member of The Pankey Alumni Association, and a alliance technician of the American College of Prosthodontics. In 2006, I completed the Advanced Participation Course in “Predictable Complete Dentures” from the Massad Learning Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2007, I was elected President of the Association of Dental Laboratories of Hawai‘i. I served two terms. In 2008, I mentored with Dr. Joseph Massad at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in the inaugural, live-patient, hands-on course in Predictable Removable Prosthetics, concentrating on the Neutral Zone Technique. You can view my presentation of The Neutral Zone Technique under the Techniques section. I strongly believe in helping others. I’ve donated many cases to Donated Dental Services in Colorado, Virginia, and Hawai‘i. I’m looking for ways to do more, and I would love to learn from doctors and technicians how they have helped others and what suggestions they would have for me. You can learn more about how Clair de Lune Dental Laboratories helps others in need under our Charity section. In 2003, I took a sabbatical, moving from Arlington, Virginia, to Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and opened Clair de Lune Dental Laboratories. | ||
